The College were recommended to commission Work, Rest and Play to supply furniture for their new library which opened in September 2010. The challenge was considerable given that the requirement was to have modern, inviting furnishings within our 19th Century listed building.

‘Ballymena Borough Council embarked on a twenty million pound project to refurbish the existing listed Town Hall and extend it to provide a new Museum, Arts and Civic Centre. As part of this project the Council had to refurbish the existing Mayors Parlour in a way which complemented its setting. This required high quality, traditional style furniture.
After a tender exercise Work Rest and Play were selected. Not only were they the most economical submission, but after having a site visit before compiling their tender, they embraced what the character of the room with their proposal. Work Rest Play devised a project plan, which included site visits to finalise fine details, to suit our very tight time scale.
